You have heard that cooking with quinoa is a very healthy alternative to white rice in the market and has attracted interest to you. But you have no idea how to incorporate into your families eating plan without changing the "normal" routines. Since cook with quinoa provides many health benefits, such as:
1. Being a complete protein
2. Provides more amino acids, enzymes, vitamins, minerals, fiber and anitoxidents most other grains
3. Studies show it can be effective in the prevention and treatment of diabetes and insulin resistance ... so we are diligently watching our sugar intake as a preventive measure.
Great incentive to start learning to cook with quinoa, would not you agree? Here's one of my best creative:
Quinoa Pizza improved
I can buy the store made pizza dough because that is what my daughter-in-law that you normally use. Then gets quinoa in the kitchen for the first time (be sure to rinse well so that you do not have the bitter taste) and then literally adding another layer of "mass" to incorporate into the top of the mass of rolled pizza. Then cover with your favorite pizza sauce homemade or store bought .... no matter ..
1. Then gets quinoa in the kitchen for the first time.
2. So, literally, add another layer of "mass" to incorporate into the top of the rolled dough.
3. Add your favorite salsa
4. Always add the mushrooms and sweet onions portabella. You choose what you know is your favorite family or what you can do to eat.
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 400. (All ovens vary ... and you may want your crust crunchy ... keep an eye on this ..)
Another tip I do with my cooked quinoa:
I can buy a store made rice pudding, either in his cabinet, or if a pre-packaged for sale. Equally, that rice pudding mix with quinoa. Tastes great! Too much sugar and cream in the original anyway. This reduces the sugar and gives a complete protein and healthy.
