The different methods of how to cook the vegetables can help you enjoy a healthy and delicious lifestyle. Many people do not enjoy raw vegetables or raw, but steam fry adds flavor and texture altering therefore otherwise difficult to swallow food of good taste. Boiling, making mashed, baked or broiled vegetables are other ways to cook and serve healthy garden bounty.

Boiling

When deciding how to cook vegetables is important to note that boiling is often the first step in a multi-step recipe. For example, to soften a pumpkin that is used to make a soup that is boiled first. If I wanted to make mashed potatoes, I would boil first so that they lose their hard texture and are easier to grind. Some vegetables such as green leafy vegetables like spinach, kale and collards need not be boiled for any other purpose that is eaten with a little seasoning.

Steam

Steaming is not just a quick way to cook vegetables, preserving vitamins and minerals that contain natural, but can steam frozen vegetables, fresh or preserved, such as corn, asparagus, carrots, green beans, beets and broccoli. To steam these and other vegetables can be placed directly vegetables in a pot with about two inches of water or you can put inside a steamer basket.

Grill

During the summer, many people enjoy grilled corn on the cob with their burgers or adding some peppers and onions to shish kebabs.

Vegetable shish kebab grill, simply prick with a wooden stick and lay them on the grill until little char or until meat is cooked, depending on the type of snacks they are doing. When grilled corn, it is best wrapped in a piece of aluminum foil and cover once or twice so that all sides cook evenly.


Baking

Wrap in foil and bake whole potatoes
Puree, adding a little brown sugar, butter and syrup, and put everything into a mold
Cut fries

Frying

Although not the healthiest way to eat okra, eggplant, or mushrooms, frying is one of the tastiest ways to solve them, especially if you are learning to cook vegetables. Add the breadcrumbs provides a crunchy texture and smoother than oil that moistens food and locks in the heat.

Apart from these methods on how to cook vegetables, you can also choose to braised, sauteed, roasted stir fry, or microwave your healthy greens, purples, oranges and yellows.
