Popcorn Cheese is a favorite of all time for a lot of occasions. You can make your own cheese popcorn at home. There are lots of different ways to do it. It all depends on your personal style and what kind of cheese you love most. Warning: Once you try this, people will want to do it again!
Pop your popcorn in the first place, and that will be making his cheese mixture separately. You will create a "base" of the melted butter and add spices to taste. Figure on 1 / 4 cup butter for every 2 cups of popcorn. There are three basic approaches to make cheese popcorn.
Dust itself. This is simple, fast and cheap, and it will still impress your friends. Stir the cheese powder in butter. You may want to add a little salt too. Do this over medium heat and stir vigorously to avoid burning the mixture. Once the butter is melted and completely powdered cheese stirred in, pour over beans and serve pop.
Bake and sprinkle. This approach works well if you are using real cheese with corn and made the night before. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and pour butter mixture over the beans. Mix popcorn and cheese all together and spread on a baking sheet. Only need to bake for 5-7 minutes. Sprinkle grated cheese over the popcorn and let it melt.
Melt in a saucepan. Melt butter, add spices, then add grated cheese to the butter mixture. You can do this slowly and gradually until a uniform mixture of the cheese sauce. Pour over the beans and coat evenly. You can take a step further, baking and sprinkle more cheese on top of a double cheese delight.
You can eyeball the amounts of cheese, and will vary. Try playing with different spices. For example, chile powder or paprika adds a spicy if you want cheddar popcorn. You can also try different types of cheddar cheese deli (such as smoked cheddar, for example). You can also try adding a little chopped fresh onion or garlic butter base to add some extra flavor. You can even experiment with adding some finely chopped peppers to the base of butter before adding the cheese. This will give your popcorn a little "something extra" that will make your curious friends.
